Cracked or broken glass.

If you have a crack in one of your conservatory windows, doors or glass roof, FIX can replace it whether it is single, double or triple glazed, and even if it has patterned or stained glass. It doesn’t matter if the frames are timber, metal or uPVC – no matter who fitted them originally, we can fix them. We’ll take out the broken glass and replace with new, instantly improving the appearance of your conservatory.

Please note we do not provide traditional glazier services, to fit single glass with putty.

Misted double glazing.

Can’t see out of the window or glass roof in your conservatory because of condensation inside your double-glazed unit? This is commonly caused by the seal that binds the glass together breaking down. To repair misted or cloudy double glazing you don’t have to change the whole thing, you can just replace the glass instead. The job is quick to do, as we simply take out the glass unit, replace it with a new one and return your conservatory to its former glory.

Polycarbonate roof panels.

Conservatory roofs need to be regularly maintained because they are exposed to the extremes of the Scottish climate including wind, rain and snow. Loose roof panels are one of the most common causes of leaks in conservatories, as this creates gaps where the water can enter.

If you’d like to upgrade your polycarbonate but your conservatory roof pitch is too low to fit glass or a solid roof, we have a range of high-performance polycarbonate options. Available in three tints – clear, bronze and opal – you also have the option to include HeatGuard™ which reduces solar gain by over half, compared to clear material. This also minimises glare and reduces yellowing on the uPVC.

Decorative repairs.

Cresting and finials are the decorative trim that runs along the external ridge of your conservatory roof. Even though they are mainly there for appearance, they do have their uses, such as preventing birds resting on the roof.

We can repair or replace the finials, cresting and end caps for any conservatory roofing system.
