Yes. Typically when seals are worn they need to be replaced. Our assessor will identify what kind of seal or gasket you require so that our technicians can replace them.

With modern glazing more heat is kept inside, moisture condenses on a cold surface, so external condensation is actually your window doing a good job of keeping the warmth in. Find out more here.

Internal condensation usually occurs in the winter, when the warm moist air comes in to contact with the glass, which is typically colder. The best solution to minimise internal condensation is to increase ventilation. It may be possible to retrospectively fit trickle vents in older windows, which will help reduce condensation. Condensation in between two panes is due to the failure of the seal around the window. To solve this problem you don’t need to replace the whole window, just the double glazed unit which is a straight forward job and costs from as little as £150, supplied and fitted.
